The 2026/27 Premier League continues into Matchweek 2 and it all begins on Friday night as Crystal Palace host Manchester City. Both sides struggled on the opening weekend, but as City seem to do, they found a way with late goals from Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol rescuing three points for Enzo Maresca. The same can't be said for the Eagles, with Pierre Sage's side left to rue a host of missed chances as they fell 2-0 to Everton.
Saturday sees four games, with Andoni Iraola making his home bow for Liverpool against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth welcoming Everton and two promoted sides in Coventry and Hull facing off. The pick of the games has to be Tottenham vs Newcastle, though, with Roberto De Zerbi's side looking for a spark after a woeful opening-weekend display against Brentford. The Toon Army will be hoping Matthias Jaissle's boys can put in a similar display to the one they managed against Liverpool.
Sunday is headlined by two fixtures in particular, with Chelsea vs Brighton and Man United vs Ipswich sorting your Sunday viewing. The Blues looked brilliant going forward on Monday night against Fulham, but struggled at the back, while Brighton... well, just looked irresistible as they ran out 4-0 winners over Aston Villa. Man United will need something to appease fans against the Tractor Boys after they looked lost against relegation favourites Hull on the opening weekend. Leeds vs Brentford and Sunderland vs Fulham are the other games to sink your teeth into.
Finally, it all concludes with a second edition of Monday Night Football for the season as Aston Villa welcome Arsenal. Villa were left stunned by their heavy defeat to Brighton on the opening day, while the Gunners couldn't have had it more comfortable against newly promoted Coventry. Unai Emery is often the master of turning around a club's fortunes, but even for him, the task at Villa Park looks arduous.

In the UK, Premier League TV rights for the 2026/2027 season are shared between two broadcasters: Sky Sports, and TNT Sports. It's the second year of the EPL's latest £6.7bn deal that lasts until 2029. At least 267 of the 380 fixtures to be shown live.
► Sky Sports has broadcast English top flight matches since the Premier League’s inception in 1992, and it continues to air more live action than anyone else. The service will show at least 215 games in 2026/2027 across Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports+.
► TNT Sports and its streaming platform HBO Max have rights to 52 live Premier League matches in 2026/27, usually Saturday lunchtime kick-offs and a couple of midweek matchdays.
Why aren't all Premier League games live on TV in the UK?
Yep, the Saturday 3pm 'blackout' remains in place, which means that no games that kick off at that time can be broadcast live. This is enshrined in law and is designed to protect match-day attendances further down the football pyramid.
Like last season, though, any Premier League game not taking place at 3pm on a Saturday shown live on TV. Good news for fans of clubs on the Thursday-Sunday timetable of the Europa League/Conference League grind.

NBC Universal holds the Premier League broadcast rights in the US, splitting the coverage across various channels and platforms: NBC, USA Network, and Peacock.
► NBC is the flagship cable TV channel, which hosts only the marquee fixtures.
