Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in Norway today in the first match of a La Liga double-header this weekend. This lunchtime's fixture at Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium is followed tomorrow afternoon by a match against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford.
The Reds landed back in Manchester after a successful tour of Thailand and Australia. They won three of their four matches - scoring 13 goals and only conceding four goals as they tested themselves against Premier League opposition that included Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
United's disappointing second-half display against Villa was the only blemish on an otherwise impressive tour - a last-minute Calum Chambers header denied the Reds four wins out of four. Erik ten Hag is getting to grips with the intricacies of his squad and with every training session the Dutchman will have a better understanding of his potential starting XI.

United's Premier League curtain-raiser comes on August 7 at Old Trafford when they take on Brighton. Before then, they have two final tests against two La Liga sides this weekend.
Ten Hag specifically requested that the games be played on consecutive days so that he could get 90 minutes in as many players' legs as possible.
The first of the La Liga double header sees United face Diego Simeone's Atletico side in a rather bizarre location - Norway. It will be a stern test to see just how well Ten Hag has his team drilled and how much more work needs to be done ahead of next weekend.
