How to watch Man City vs Newcastle with US TV channel, live stream details and kick-off time

Manchester City have an opportunity to cut the points gap between themselves and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table to just two when welcoming Newcastle United this weekend.

Arsenal's 4-0 win over Everton in midweek extended the league-leaders' advantage over City to five points, but Pep Guardiola's side could cut that in half before Mikel Arteta's team play Bournemouth over the weekend. Playing Newcastle is a difficult one on the face of it after drawing the reverse fixture 3-3 back in August, but the beaten Carabao Cup finalists have seen their downturn in their league form since the World Cup break.

The North East club have won just one of their last seven Premier League games since winning 3-0 against Leicester City back on Boxing Day. Five of those fixtures were drawn, and another ended in defeat, which was suffered in their last league outing against Liverpool when they lost 3-0 at St James' Park.

What time is kick-off?

Saturday's kick-off time is 7:30am ET and 4:30am PT across the United States of America.

Where can I watch?

USA Network are broadcasting the match, and coverage of the first Premier League fixture of the weekend begins with Premier League Mornings at 7am EST (4am PT), half an hour before kick-off. UK viewers can watch on BT Sport.

Team news

Aymeric Laporte and John Stones both remain doubts ahead of this match with illness and injury, respectively. Backup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is more of a doubt to feature in the squad, though, after being forced off during the midweek FA Cup fifth round tie at Bristol City with a hand injury.

For Newcastle, Bruno Guimaraes is a pre-match injury doubt after twisting his ankle during the Carabao Cup final with Manchester United, while defender Emil Krafth remains sidelined with a serious anterior cruciate ligament knee injury.
