The second series of winter Love Island, which begins on Monday, January 16, is being filmed once again in South Africa, but this time in the wine region of Franschhoek.
This year's contestants will be staying in the stunning £1.2 million Ludas Magnus villa which has a beautiful backdrop of mountains.
Among the contestants is the first partially sighted islander, Ron Hall, the ex-girlfriend of last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! runner-up, Lana Jenkins, and actress Olivia Hawkins, 27, who was in No Time To Die alongside Daniel Craig.
Love Island is launching its first winter series since before the pandemic with the first episode airing on ITV2 and streaming on ITVX on Monday (January 16) at 9pm and those who are out of the country enjoying the winter sun can still tune in even if they are abroad.
How to watch Love Island if you are not in the country
Even if you are away seeking some winter sun there is a way to watch Love Island abroad.
A VPN can be used to watch Love Island while out of the country. Services such ExpressVPN allow you to dial in and watch ITV even while out of the country.
VPNs also allow you to keep your web history completely private, keep your online data safe and secure, or stream movies and sports fixtures that aren't available in your current location.
You can get Express VPN here in time for tonight’s Love Island episode.
VPNs are a downloadable online tool that can be used to basically suggest you’re still using a UK-based IP address - and bypass the issue blocking your content, or ITVHub in this instance.
We’ve popped a helpful step-by-step guide below on exactly how you can watch Love Island, when you’re outside the UK:
- Download a VPN server like ExpressVPN or NordVPN to your laptop, tablet, phone or other streaming device of your choice
- Once in the VPN’s interface, you then want to select a UK server
- Head to the ITVHub and search for Love Island - or anything else you watch to watch
- Press play, sit back and get ready to watch the drama unfold.
