Jurgen Klopp will finally get his available players back on the pitch on Sunday as Liverpool face French side Lyon in the Dubai Super Cup.
A 33-man squad has made the journey to the Middle East for a warm-weather training camp, with matches against the Ligue 1 side and AC Milan completing the tour.
None of Liverpool's World Cup stars will be available for either game, but it will be a perfect opportunity for the rest of the squad to get some welcome minutes into their legs before the resumption of the Premier League on Boxing Day and the Carabao Cup clash against Manchester City four days earlier.
