How to watch Liverpool's Sam Maxwell vs Dalton Smith: Sky and DAZN guide

Liverpool fighter Sam Maxwell takes on Dalton Smith in Sheffield in a Super Lightweight Championship fight tonight and fans will be able to watch on Sky TV and DAZN.

The ring walk is estimated at around 10pm tonight and fans of the super-lightweight Commonwealth belt holder will be able to watch with a DAZN subscription for £9.99 or by adding DAZN to their existing Sky subscription here.

Maxwell weighed in at 139.4lb at Friday’s weigh-in for the bout at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, with the 34-year-old hoping to claim the British title after a points victory over Shaun Cooper at the Nottingham Arena back in February.

Maxwell's opponent Smith, who also came in under the 140lb limit at the weigh-in, will land the British outright with a win over Maxwell after his second defence came in February, when he successfully outpointed Billy Allington.

"I’ve enjoyed fight week so far," Maxwell said. "It’s been a busy one but I’m really enjoying it.

"I’m enjoying my whole boxing the last year that I’ve been with Paul Edwards. I’m enjoying it more than I’ve ever enjoyed it. It’s going to bring the best out of me.

"I feel like I hit hard enough to hurt anyone in the division. That’s what’s going to happen on Saturday if I land clean. I know I can hurt Dalton.

"The vibe I’m getting from his camp is that he’s looking to walk through me and smash me up. It’s going to be an exciting fight.

"Eddie has got all of the top 140lbs; it’s a great division to be part of. Beat Dalton on Saturday, and I’ll put my name in the hat for some massive fights in the division.

"I feel like I’ve been underestimated by everyone. It’s about me going in there on Saturday and showing everyone how good I am."

The fight will be shown on DAZN tonight.
