Manchester City will hope to begin their return to Premier League action as they face a tough test away against Leeds United on Wednesday.
Erling Haaland returns to the city of his birth to play for the first time at Elland Road and will hope to continue the form which has seen him score a remarkable 18 goals in his first 13 Premier League matches. The Norwegian striker will be well rested for the upcoming fixtures having been rested for six weeks while the World Cup was taking place in Qatar.
City and their manager Pep Guardiola will be hoping that Haaland can hit the ground running as they hope to close the five point gap they have behind leaders Arsenal. They enjoyed great success against the Yorkshire club last season, winning 4-0 and 7-0 and will be hopeful of a similarly dominant performance in this fixture.
