How to watch Hatton vs Barrera: Start time, TV channel and live stream for boxing exhibition today

Marco Antonio Barrera and Ricky Hatton meet in a boxing exhibition on Saturday night

Ricky Hatton and Marco Antonio Barrera will roll back the years with a rearranged boxing exhibition in Manchester on Saturday night.

This eight-round fight was initially due to take place back in July, only to fall through late after Hughie Fury’s proposed headline heavyweight bout against Michael Hunter was cancelled.

But there have been no such issues this time around and hometown favourite Hatton will make his boxing return on Saturday, almost 10 years to the day since his last competitive outing - a knockout defeat by Vyacheslav Senchenko at the same venue.

‘The Hitman’ - one of the best British fighters of all time - goes up against another legend of the squared circle in Barrera, Mexico’s former three-weight world champion and Hall of Fame great.

The 48-year-old has not fought professionally since his two-round blitz of Jose Arias in 2011, two years after his loss to Amir Khan, but has staged more recent exhibitions that went the distance against the likes of Daniel Ponce de Leon and Jesus Soto Karass.

How to watch Hatton vs Barrera

TV channel: Saturday’s exhibition is being shown live in the UK on Sky Sports Arena, after the conclusion of a separate card headlined by Natasha Jonas vs Marie-Eve Dicaire in Manchester.

Coverage of Hatton vs Barrera is due to begin at around 10pm GMT, though that will depend on how long the previous fights run.
