England meet France at St James’ Park in Newcastle later today as the Lionesses continue their attempts to qualify for Euro 2025.
Les Bleus sit top of Group 3 and represent the toughest task – at least on paper – for Sarina Wiegman’s side.
The Lionesses then head to France on Tuesday for a double-header and will need to do so without the services of Lauren James.
James reported for international duty with a foot injury but pulled out of the squad on Thursday.
