England face Argentina in their Rugby World Cup opener in Marseille tonight.
It is the most important Pool D fixture up first for Steve Borthwick’s side, of whom not much is expected after a horror build-up to the France tournament and only three wins in their last nine matches.
England must improve fast against the wily and physical Pumas, whose threats they know only too well after a shock loss at Twickenham last autumn.

Defeat for the Red Roses here certainly wouldn’t mean that their World Cup campaign is over before it’s really begun, but it would certainly make life that much more difficult as they aim to defy expectations across the Channel.
