The Washington Commanders try to snap a two-game losing streak on Thursday Night Football against the visiting Chicago Bears.
Washington is coming off a heartbreaking 34-31 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bears are coming off a heartbreaker of their own, blowing a 28-7 lead before falling to the Denver Broncos 31-28.
Buy Commanders TicketsThese two historic NFL franchises met on Thursday Night Football last season in one of the ugliest prime-time games of the season. Washington prevailed, 12-7, in what would be quarterback Carson Wentz’s second-to-last start for the Commanders. Taylor Heinicke would take over under center the following week, and the Commanders would go on a run to get into playoff contention before falling apart late.
A lot has changed for Washington since that time. For one, the Commanders have a new ownership group, led by managing partner Josh Harris, that includes NBA legend Magic Johnson.
