How to watch Chelsea vs Manchester City: Kick-off time, TV channel and live stream

Chelsea return home to Stamford Bridge looking for their first victory of 2023 and hopefully a subsequent upturn in form, but in their way stands title-chasing Manchester City.

Graham Potter settled into life in the capital pretty quickly with three Premier League wins on the bounce back in October. However, he has since has fallen down a rabbit hole of despair, with last Tuesday's win over Bournemouth the club's only three point haul in seven league matches.

Their last match ended in a 1-1 draw away to Nottingham Forest after former Tottenham man Serge Aurier pegged the Blues back late on, heaping the pressure on Potter ahead of a crucial head-to-head against City.

It hasn't been smooth sailing for Pep Guardiola's men either, despite striker Erling Haaland 's record-breaking 21-goal haul after 16 matches, with City trailing first-place Arsenal by eight points with a game in hand. Just like Chelsea, their next opponents were pegged back in a 1-1 draw last time out against Everton.

City also knocked Chelsea out of the Carabao Cup earlier this season, and with the pair each winning two of the last four meetings in SW6, fans will be excited to tune in for the highly-anticipated clash. Therefore, football.london provided all the details needed to follow the action below.

How to watch Chelsea vs Man City

The match kicks off this evening at Stamford Bridge at 8:00pm. It will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Sky customers may also stream the game via SkyGo and watch in-game clips on the Sky Sports website and app, with extended build-up beginning an hour and a half before kick-off at 6:30pm.

If you are unable to tune into live coverage of the game there is no need to panic as football.london's live coverage of events will begin at 4:00pm via our live blog.

As the only fixture that day and with FA Cup fixtures taking place this weekend, there will be no BBC highlights of the match after full-time. Instead, supporters can access the main highlights on Sky Sports Premier League's YouTube channel.
