Bristol Bears' mission on Friday night when French side Perpignan come to Ashton Gate in the final pool stage game of the Challenge Cup is it to try and eliminate the impact of the five point deduction the club were handed this week which no sees Pat Lam's side as significant underdogs to secure a home tie in the last 16 knockout rounds.
Despite the setback Bristol are safely through to the round of 16 games in April having won three out of three so far in the Challenge Cup. Remarkably, despite having not won a game in the tournament this season, Perpignan also currently sit in the final qualifying spot in Pool A.
