Arsenal are back in Premier League action tonight as they welcome Newcastle United to the Emirates Stadium, hoping to start the New Year as they finished 2022.
The Gunners currently find themselves at the top of the table, seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City after the reigning champions could only manage a 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday whilst Mikel Arteta's side secured an impressive 4-2 victory away to Brighton. Next up for the north London outfit is a challenging matchup against Newcastle - who have also enjoyed a brilliant start to the season.
Eddie Howe and Co sit third in the current standings, having lost just once in their opening 17 outings. However, the Magpies have struggled at the Emirates Stadium in the last few years, failing to secure all three points in N7 since a 1-0 victory back in November 2010.
