Apple's keynote will be hosted on the company's official YouTube channel, and you can also watch it using the video above, so you won’t even need to leave this page to tune in! We expect the live stream to be available on Apple's WWDC site as well.

So, what can you expect to hear about at the event? Below, we've rounded up some of the big announcements we're expecting from Tim Cook and co later today.

What to expect at the WWDC 2023 keynote

Rumors about an Apple VR headset have been growing steadily this year and it now seems certain that the device will be unveiled later today at Apple Park. The WWDC 2023 invite even appeared to hint at the lenses used in some VR goggles.

xrOS

VR, or mixed reality, would be a new platform for Apple, so we'd expect any hardware launch to be accompanied by the arrival of a new operating system to power it. The rumors suggest Apple has settled on the name 'xrOS', and it's expected to be revealed alongside the headset today.

We can also expect to see familiar apps (such as Freeform, FaceTime, Apple TV Plus and more) reinvented for a mixed-reality experience.

The rumor mill has been predicting a MacBook Air 15-inch for months, and although we were initially skeptical that Apple would release a bigger MacBook, we are now expecting Tim Cook to reveal one onstage today.

It may also be joined by a new 13-inch model, with both potentially powered by Apple M3 chips.

Mac Pro (2023)

A new Mac Pro has always been a good fit for a developer-focused conference such as WWDC 2023, and there's good reason to suspect we might see one arrive today.

If a Mac Pro 2023 is revealed onstage today, expect it to arrive packing some form of Apple silicon, whether the M2 Pro or M2 Max chipsets that arrived in January, or the rumored M2 Ultra or even an Apple M3 chip.

These are just a few of the potential drops we might see today, but our full WWDC hub has more detail about all of the new hardware and software reveals to expect, so head over there before the event starts and get clued up on all things Apple.
