Players will soon be able to transfer any FIFA Points they had on FIFA 22 to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
With the FIFA 23 FUT Web App launching on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 and the FUT Companion App launching on Thursday, September 22, 2022, players are preparing for how to make the most of their limited early access to FUT 23. One of the ways players choose to build their teams is by buying packs, which are redeemed using FIFA Points.
EA has confirmed that players won't be able to transfer FIFA Points from FIFA 22 to FIFA 23 using the FUT 23 Web App or FUT 23 Companion App. If you have FIFA Points on your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team account, players will only be able to transfer the points to their FIFA 23 account by launching the full game on their console or PC.
So, if you are on a console or PC and are looking to kick-start your FIFA 23 Ultimate Team journey by transferring some FIFA Points, you will have to wait until you can access the full game. For those who pre-ordered the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition, or are EA Play subscribers, the earliest you can access the full game is Tuesday, September 27, 2022. For everyone else, the game is being released worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022.
In FIFA 23, the only items that can be carried over to your FUT 23 account from FUT 22 are your FUT Club Profile, FUT 23 Pre-Season rewards, and FIFA Points. Your FUT Club Profile is your club name and the year it was created, and the Pre-Season rewards are the rewards earned in FUT 22 during the Pre-Season Promo. As stated earlier, FIFA Points can be carried over, but only when you access FIFA 23 on your console or PC.
When you log on to FIFA 23 for the first time on your Console or PC, you will be asked to confirm whether you want to transfer any remaining FIFA Points from your FUT 22 to your FUT 23 account, but once confirmed, you cannot reverse your decision. Items such as Coins, Packs, Player Items, Consumables, club data and records will not be carried into FUT 23.
In FIFA 22, PC players could purchase FIFA Points on the FUT Web App by clicking the '+' symbol next to the number of FIFA Points you already have in the top-right corner of the screen. It remains unknown if this option will still be available for PC users in the FUT 23 Web App.
FIFA 23 will be released on Friday, September 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 or are subscribed to EA Play will be given early access to the game, allowing players access to the game on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
