My partner has a theory that when visiting Scotland, everyone fits into one of two camps: you’re either an Edinburgh person, or a Glasgow person.
He says he has always placed himself firmly in the latter group and, before this trip, I would have said I was undecided. But leaving a weekend in Glasgow, I was completely blown away by just how fantastic this city is. With a thriving food scene, the very best independent shops, and locals who will make the time to stop and chat with you, I cannot recommend a weekend here more highly.
