How to play Powerball – the world’s biggest jackpot game coming to the UK

  • Powerball , the world's biggest rolling jackpot game, is launching in the UK this week, allowing British players to compete for shared jackpots potentially worth billions ahead of Thursday’s opening draw.
  • Operated by Allwyn, tickets will be available from tomorrow, with draws taking place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 4am, following sales until 11.55pm the night before.
  • Players must select five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red 'Powerball' number from 1 to 26, with tickets costing £4 per line.
  • The game offers uncapped jackpots starting at £12 million, with the largest ever Powerball win being $2.04 billion (£1.5 billion) in 2022.
  • UK players will have exclusive prize tiers, including £8 for the 'match two main numbers'.
