Podcast About How To Make Money: Everyone's Talkin' Money
Hosted by certified financial planner Shannah Game, this podcast targets millennials. Topics covered include student loans, stock trading, credit cards and car insurance, among other subjects related to how to make money. New episodes drop every Tuesday and Friday. The podcast usually features one or two guests who share advice and personal stories.
Game joined her dad's financial services company after graduating from college. That's where she realized that "everyone my age knew nothing ... and I mean nothing about finance," she writes in an online bio. Game spent a few years gaining financial knowledge, saying getting her certified financial planner designation was "probably one of the three hardest things I've ever done — no joke."
Game went on to earn an MBA, too, and has been a finance lecturer at California State University, Northridge. Now she runs her firm, Los Angeles, Calif.-based Shannah L. Compton, CFP.
So Money
Award-winning financial strategist Farnoosh Torabi shares high-profile interviews in 30-minute episodes Mondays and Wednesdays. Recent episodes cover areas like the job market, investing in turbulent times and how to buy your first home.
Her guests have included financial experts as well as everyday folks. For example, on May 25 she featured listener Lauren Hatchett, a 20-something schoolteacher who wanted to know how to financially prepare for her move to New York City later this summer. Torabi has also scored the occasional celebrity guest, like Queen Latifah.
Torabi, who is CNET Money editor-at-large as well as a TV host and bestselling author, also hosts a Friday podcast in which she answers questions from listeners and social media followers on how to make money and related topics.
Million Bazillion Shows How To Make Money
Anyone who's ever been around kids knows they have questions — lots of them. Luckily, Million Bazillion can help you field queries on how to make money and other financial topics.
The range of topics on this podcast is as varied as kids' interests: from the basics on how money is made and the history of banks to thorny questions such as: Why can girls' things cost more than boys' things?
For older kids, there are primers on the stock market, cryptocurrency and the importance of jobs.
But what kid doesn't enjoy knock-knock jokes and money trivia? Million Bazillion has those covered too with topics such as: Why do prices end in $0.99?
The podcast is lively and encourages kids to participate in future episodes in which they may be asked to read their questions out loud (with parental permission, of course).
Million Bazillion is on hiatus right now, but it announced on May 19 that a new season is in the works. Check out its weekly podcasts from previous seasons in the meantime.

Oh My Dollar! A Way To Hear How To Make Money
This podcast is a great resource for those who don't have a typical 9-to-5 job. It covers lots of topics important to gig workers and freelancers.
Host (and cat lover) Lillian Karabaic set out to help people achieve financial well-being "no matter their income," according to her website.
"It's not about how much you make, but about your relationship to money," she wrote. "For every broke person making six figures (and there's a lot of them!), there's a person who earns a modest salary but is making the right money choices."
Recent episodes covered how gig workers can get unemployment and how to get insurance when you lose your job.
Karabaic says she worked five jobs after college graduation, saving nearly half her income, staying debt-free, while donating 5% of her spending. What's more, she was able to save up enough money to travel to 25 countries on a modest nonprofit salary.
The podcast began in December 2016, and it hasn't dropped a new episode since June 2020. However, listeners can tune in to more than 100 episodes spanning many timeless topics on how to make money.
The Coin Bureau Podcast: Crypto Without The Hype
OK, did you really think there'd be a best money podcast list without a crypto pick? But this one, as the title suggests, avoids the hype.
The hosts talk candidly about losses and lessons learned, as well as the fallout for investors, even highlighting where they can get help if they're feeling desperate.
The podcast kicked off in February, and starts at the very beginning with in-depth explanations of what is crypto and who are the main players. Later episodes delve into the gyrations of the crypto market.
New episodes are available weekly.

They'll show you how to save your first $1,000, pay off $105,000 of debt in 35 months and save money on groceries, among other things.
One recent reviewer called the duo "the life coaches I'm too cheap to pay for."
New episodes are churned out weekly on Fridays.
