Broadband customers across the UK will see their monthly bill rise this April as providers make adjustments to cover inflating business costs. For the majority of users, it works out at a couple of pounds more each month but can amount to huge extra costs when combined with the other rising utilities.
As the cost of living pressures continue to grapple with people's bills, broadband payments aren't the only utility costs going up, as council tax, water, energy, and phone contracts are just a few monthly outgoings already confirmed to rise.
April price hikes aren't a new concept in fact each year it's only natural for prices to rise marginally in the spring of each year. However, the added cost of living pressures has skyrocketed the current inflation rate to 10.4%, leaving a huge sting in consumers' budgets.
