Benfica were have been regarded as one of the most favourable opponents when the Champions League quarter-final draw was made. Jurgen Klopp and his side, however, won't take the challenge for granted.
The last time the two sides met in the competition was during the 2005/2006 when Liverpool went into the tournament as champions. The Reds were expected to progress, but found themselves on the end of a 0-3 aggregate score-line. As things stand, Liverpool continue to challenge across all fronts. With one trophy already in the bag, three more are still up for grabs.
