How to get the shotgun in Resident Evil 2 Remake

Resident Evil 2 Remake - Leon holding a shotgun.

The shotgun is powerful weapon that Leon can find pretty early on in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, but it's not as easy as just picking it up, of course. Instead, you have to find the weapons locker key card in another room and use it to open the locker containing the W-870 Shotgun.

Before we go any further, keep in mind that the shotgun is a Leon-exclusive weapon. Sorry to all of the Claire playthroughs out there—but not too sorry, seeing as Claire gets the Grenade Launcher instead.
