How to get the Phoenix Hunter Mask in The Division 2

Phoenix Hunter has arrived in the public build of The Division 2, and we can obtain his signature mask by solving the puzzle. To do so, you’ll need to find five clues located all around Brooklyn.

Let’s find out how you can get your hands on this mask.

How to obtain the Phoenix Hunter mask in The Division 2

There are two important prerequisites for obtaining this unique mask.

  • You must own the Battle for Brooklyn expansion. The required locations are locked behind the DLC.
  • You must have obtained the eight previously released Hunter masks that are available in Brooklyn.

As I mentioned above, there are five clues to obtain.

1st Clue location

The first clue is near the Warehouse Control Point in Dumbo. Go under the Manhattan Bridge and opposite from the nearby control point. Enter the building where the Necronos Hunter fight takes place, and go to the roof. You’ll find a fire burning on top of the stairs, and you’ll find your first clue here.

2nd Clue location

The second clue is near the spot where you encounter the Tracker Hunter boss. You’ll notice a door with “192” written on top of it. Head inside, and you’ll activate a tripwire mine that sets fire to the room on your right. Since you can’t proceed from inside the room, return to the main entrance, go straight, and then turn left. You’ll come to the exit of the building with another doorway (192 written on top of it).

Look to your opposite side, and you’ll find the red-colored scaffolding. Climb up, and you’ll find a window. Head inside, and you’ll find a valve to turn on. Next, climb down the scaffold, and you’ll find an open manhole leading to the underground.

Head down, and you’ll find a second valve to turn on. Once both valves are turned on, you’ll extinguish the fire in the 192 building. Go inside the room of the building, and you’ll have your second clue.

3rd Clue location

For the third one, we have to go to the Redtail Hunter location under the Manhattan Bridge. Climb up the fence, and then head down the manhole. Inside, you’ll find a tripwire that will set fire to three locations inside the sewers. Shoot the pipes at those spots to extinguish the fires.

There will be two closed doorways inside the sewers. Each has a yellow fuse box to shoot at. Shoot them to turn on UV lights, and then go to the middle of the sewers.

You’ll find a set of Greek writings on the wall, with the fuse to turn on the third UV light.

4th Clue location

For this part, we head to the massive building opposite the Police Station. Look up, and you’ll find plenty of letters on the outside. Shoot the letters in the correct order to form the word “PHOENIX.”

Be careful not to shoot a letter twice; if that happens, restart the process. Once solved, you’ll hear music in the courtyard.

5th Clue location

The final clue is near the northwest part of the map, near the smaller bridge. Keep to the right, and you’ll find a glass house. Locate the blue generator outside the glass house. Interact with the generator to disable the fire turret, and you’ll have your final clue.

Finally, reach the highlighted spot on the image above, and you’ll find a door with “Keep Out” written outside. Head inside, and you’ll eventually encounter the Phoenix Hunter. Defeat him, and the mask is all yours.
