Both of these resources are available easily in the early to mid-game. You can get leather by capturing pals or ranching Surfent and wool by killing Lamball.
However, this takes time, and you’ll also need to assign one of your Handiwork pals to make this resource for you, so another way is to just use your gold and purchase it from the travelling merchants or the campsites that you find in the world.

The fastest way to get High Quality Cloth in Palworld 1.0 is by using Sibelyx, a pal found exclusively in the snowy Astral Mountains. You can see the map above to see where it spawns in the snowy region. While Sibelyx can drop High Quality Cloth when defeated or captured, the best strategy is to catch one and assign it to a Ranch.
Sibelyx passively produces High Quality Cloth while working, and it is the only pal that can give you a constant supply of this resource without the need to farm enemies repeatedly. If you don’t have access to the Astral Mountains yet, your next best option is to defeat or capture Sibelyx in Sealed Realm of the Pristine dungeon, at coordinates (252, 69).
