The final chapter in Ti West's horror trilogy that began with X premieres exclusively in movie theaters on Friday, July 5, as MaXXXine debuts worldwide. Fans of the previous two entries (X and Pearl) and horror aficionados are certainly excited for MaXXXine (WTW also named it one of our summer indie movies we're most excited about), and that will only increase with the fact that they can get free tickets to MaXXXine for the opening weekend.
MaXXXine is produced by A24, the fan-favorite production house that in addition to the Ti West trilogy has made movies like Love Lies Bleeding, Civil War, Past Lives, Everything Everywhere All at Once and more. A24 has helped build that fandom with its own membership group, AAA24, and if you are a member, then you can redeem one free ticket to MaXXXine at a Regal, AMC, Alamo or Marcus Theaters location throughout the US through the AAA24 app or website.
What if you're not a AAA24 member? Well, signing up will technically allow you to get a free ticket to MaXXXine, but of course, you must first pay for the membership. The good news is that US residents can sign up for AAA24 for $5, which is still cheaper than your average movie ticket.
Membership for AAA24 costs $5 per month or you can sign up for a full year and pay $55 total. In addition to the opportunity to get free tickets, AAA24 members also are automatically subscribers to A24's Zine, which is published four times a year; access to the A24 app, which features 100-plus hours of bonus content; a 10% discount at the A24 online shop; exclusive merchandise; early access to sales; an annual birthday gift and more. Get more details on the AAA24 website.
(AAA24 membership is available in the UK and other countries besides the US, but the MaXXXine promo is only available for US members).
Back to MaXXXine, the movie picks up a few years after the events of X, with that movie's lone survivor Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) attempting to become the next Hollywood star. She finally gets her big break, but as a serial killer is loose in Hollywood, Maxine's past threatens to be revealed. In addition to Goth, MaXXXine stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
Reviews for the movie have been solid, as it has a "Fresh" rating of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes as of publication. You can watch the trailer for the movie directly below.
