However, Nintendo has recently committed to offering free Joy-Con repairs for everyone in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland. This means that regardless of your warranty, if your controller has a fault, Nintendo will fix it.
If you send out your parts for repair, Nintendo won't charge you, instead, they determine what's wrong and then inform you how much it will cost to fix if it's something which isn't covered by this lifetime coverage.
