Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is packed with hidden secrets, but one of the easiest to miss is the Rubber Duck keycard. Tucked away at Cluster Coast, this item unlocks a secret vault filled with valuable loot, giving players another reason to explore this point of interest.
Unlike other vault keys in Fortnite, this one doesn’t spawn in a fixed location. To get inside, you’ll first need to track down the Rubber Duck keycard by searching the various rubber ducks scattered around the Cluster Coast. Most of them are harmless decorations, but one suspicious-looking duck with sunglasses holds the keycard that unlocks the secret vault.

All Rubber Duck keycard locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3
After landing at Cluster Coast, there are four locations where the suspicious rubber duck can spawn:
- Outdoor swimming pool: Located on the western side of the point of interest and easy to spot while gliding into the area. Check the ducks floating in the pool for the one wearing sunglasses.
- Indoor swimming pool: Head into the building next to the outdoor pool to find an indoor swimming area. There’s also a chest submerged underwater here. Search the ducks in the pool for the keycard.
- Aquarium: Inside the same building, you’ll find a large aquarium in the main hall. Three rubber ducks can spawn around this area, one of which may be the suspicious duck.
- Golden duck fountain: In the center of Cluster Coast is a fountain topped with a giant golden duck head. Several small ducks float in the water below, making this another possible keycard spawn location.
Once you find the suspicious duck wearing sunglasses, interact with it to obtain the Rubber Duck keycard. With the keycard in hand, you’re ready to track down and open the secret vault.
How to find open the secret vault with Rubber Duck keycard in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3
Opening the secret vault is a little different from Fortnite’s standard vaults. Instead of swiping the Rubber Duck keycard at a vault door, you’ll need to head to the house marked by a poster of a duck in a tuxedo raising a glass with the words “Get Flocked”.
Inside the building, find the room containing an empty glass display case. Approach it and interact with the display to place the Rubber Duck keycard. Once activated, the sofa and part of the floor will descend, revealing a hidden duck-themed underground area complete with a bar and an additional swimming pool.
The secret vault contains two rare chests and three regular chests, making it a solid early-game loot stop. You’ll also find a locker to open and plenty of gold bars, which can be used to hire NPCs for backup or purchase items and services from vending machines around the island.
