Ask anyone in the NBA who has drawn former Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart as a defender, and they will tell you that the Flower Mound native is among the harder covers in the league. But what about those of us who WANT to draw Smart? As in on paper — not on the hardwood.
A subtle but important difference, producing an artist’s rendering of the floor general we have come to love and trust over the years can be an equally tough endeavor for those of us not artistically inclined. But to help those of us who aren’t exactly adept with the visual arts, the folks behind the “Hey Kids, Let’s Draw” YouTube channel recently put together a tutorial on how to draw the former Celtics star ourselves, and we thought it might be a good way to pay our own tributes to the Texan guard.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to see how to do it yourself — whether you’re a kid or not.
