How to complete the Trial in Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 Week 3

Italian Exotics has two Festival Playlist weeks remaining, after which Forza Horizon 6 will say goodbye to Italian cars as its main theme.

The Week 3 Trial shifts to off-road racing once more, but thankfully, it’s much easier this time around.

Quick Summary

  • The Week 3 Trial has an A-Class 700 PI Total Buggies & Offroad restriction.
  • The terrain in these races is very uneven, and AI makes lots of mistakes you can exploit.
  • Use either a 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR Forza Edition or a 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition.

In Series 3 Week 3, the Trial is called Mud, Sweat & Gears. It is worth 10 Festival Playlist points. It’s restricted to the A-Class 700 PI Total Buggies & Offroad cars, and the reward is the 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB.

This is possibly the easiest Trial to complete to date, because lots of jumps, elevation changes, and uneven terrain all make even the Unbeatable AI make a lot of mistakes.

The Mud, Sweat & Gears Trial pairs one of the easiest types of racing in Forza Horizon 6 with some of the best cars, and the end result is that you’re likely to win it even if you fall asleep when it starts. Still, in the spirit of maximizing the chances, you should get the best car available.

The best car for the task is the 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR Forza Edition, but since it’s limited access, we’re gonna use the second best one, which is the 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition.

The 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition is a great car in itself, so you should get one regardless of the trial. It’s available at the Sotoyama Ski Resort as an Aftermarket car purchase. It comes with 700 PI by default, but it’s not quite optimized.

You should swap some parts to make it accelerate more, and tune the gear shifts to be shorter. If you don’t want to deal with it or don’t know how, use this tuning code: 147 446 569.

This week, we’re racing on very uneven terrain, and with your 2022 Subaru BRZ Forza Edition, you’re likely to catch all the Drivatars. Your car is very stable, so feel free to ram every single opponent out of your way.

Whichever car you use, there’s a high chance you will overtake several opponents even if you’re not very good at driving, just because of how many mistakes they make.

Otherwise, all the traditional rules apply: try not to miss any checkpoints, help out your teammates if you’re losing on points, and try not to ram into your fellow players – it’s incredibly tilting.
