Most of the new stuff in Diablo 4 Season 11 is relatively straightforward, but the Inadinng Forces objective is quickly proving itself to be a nightmare for players.
On paper, it's pretty easy to understand the Invading Forces objective. You'll have to defeat enemies with the following affixes: Infested, Anguished Souls, Illusory, and Sinful Torment. You'll have to kill 200 of them at Hard or greater difficulty.
The major issue for me, and for many others in the community, appears to be finding these enemies. If you can't figure out where to find them, it's impossible to land the necessary kills. Thankfully, there's a workaround for solving the problem.
Best way to complete Invading Forces in Diablo 4 Season 11
The secret to quickly clearing the Invading Forces is to fight through Undercity, and in a party. I am unsure if this is by design or a mistake on Blizzard's part. After all, you'll need to own the Vessel of Hatred expansion to have access to this location.
Unlike other locations in Diablo 4, most of the enemies are clumped together in the Undercity. Hence, you'll notice significantly better results when trying to eliminate enemies with the affixes mentioned above. While I was ending up with single-digit eliminations in other regions, the cumulative numbers went up to over 100 from three rounds using this method.
To get better results, you'll want to fight at a party. That makes the task easier even when you're playing with other players. You can just find a party, or matchmake with your own buddies if all of you have access to Undercity. Since you get to counter so many enemies at this location, it's an excellent spot for leveling up your seasonal rep. Moreover, you can take down Andariel multiple times to rank up her Divine Gift, and it will also allow you to use the newly implemented Sanctification system.
This is the quickest and best way to complete the objective. If you don't have access to the Vessel of Hatred DLC, I am afraid that it will take you significantly longer.
