The Sooners have struggled to an even 5-5 overall record while winning just one game in six tries in their first years as members of the SEC. Losers of four of their last five, the long recent win came at home against the Maine Bears last weekend.
The Tide come into the matchup ranked seventh in the US LBM Coaches Poll with an 8-2 total tally that includes a 4-2 mark in conference play. The two losses this fall came against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Week 6 and Tennessee Volunteers in Week 8.
