The Wolverines’ championship aura has worn off, coming in with a 5-3 record overall along with three wins in five tries against conference competition — good enough for a single vote in the US LBM Coaches Poll. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Big Blue, for sure.
The Ducks, on the other hand, appear to be flying toward a national title of their own, landing in Ann Arbor with the top ranking in the Coaches Poll with an 8-0 tally and five wins in their first season as members of the Big Ten.
