Waking up in a glass box suspended from the rafters of a 19th-century church might not be a conventional start to the day, but it’s sure to add a touch of joy — one of many Jude Davis has created in a 12-month overhaul of his home.

The technology brand manager bought his apartment in a converted baptist church in West Norwood, south London, for £480,000 in 2018.
