In a recent matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Boston Celtics demonstrated their defensive prowess by holding star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to a challenging 7-for-20 shooting performance. The Celtics, led by their big three of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis, secured a 3-point victory that was less close than it looked, maintaining their undefeated record of 6-0 at home and an NBA-best overall record of 12-3 at the time.
The game showed the Celtics’ ability to defend against top-tier opponents and highlighted the chemistry between Brown and Porzingis. The Celtics strategically used backside pressure, perimeter clamps, and overwhelming athleticism to make life difficult for Giannis on the other end, where Boston excelled.
Their defensive efforts limited the Greek Freak’s effectiveness and contributed to the team’s success against a fully equipped Milwaukee lineup.
