Steve Smith's long wait for a Test century ended after 18 months on Sunday in Brisbane, as the former Australia captain went back to his 'double trigger' movement to counter Jasprit Bumrah-led Indian attack.
It wasn't one of the fluent Smith centuries; and he understandably took 190 balls for his 101, with his back-and-across trigger discernible throughout his stay that produced his 33rd Test hundred and a 241-run partnership with fellow centurion Travis Head (152).
