The Boston Celtics will have a Defensive Player of the Year-caliber addition joining the team sometime in December or January, and it won’t cost them a thing in terms of assets, as we’re referring to recuperating Boston big man Robert Williams III.
How will Timelord’s return affect the team’s offense, with his ability to clean up misses with flushes and offensive boards while also having one of the better passing games on the team? And given how poor this team has been in his absence on the defensive side of the court, his return to action with the Celtics will only help the club.
To talk over how Williams being available for Boston for the first time this season may change the team, check out the clip embedded below from the “Locked on Celtics” podcast.
Host John Karalis and regular guest Tom Westerholm of Boston.com break down what might change, and how important Timelord is to this team’s title hopes on a recent episode.
