But it is back to domestic actions with a trip to Firhill to meet Motherwell on Sunday next up. Motherwell have just one win from their last five outings, but with confidence low in the Rangers camp, Sunday could see upset.
There are likely to be a few changes to the starting XI at the weekend. Some enforced alterations, with Connor Goldson unavailable after hobbling off against Liverpool, with the defender later spotted on crutches. And now Record Sport understands that the stopper is set to sit on the sidelines for months after picking up an injury to his thigh. Ryan Jack was also forced off early and is likely to be unavailable for a prolonger period.
