Craig Mulholland wasted no time tackling the major problem in Scottish football, the lack of young players who are coming through and establishing themselves in the senior game, after being appointed as the new SFA performance director back in May.
The former Rangers academy director and Nottingham Forest talent manager convened a meeting with representatives of every SPFL club in St Andrews earlier this month and outlined a series of radical proposals at the gathering.
