A council in south London has declared its intention to impose the lowest council tax in the capital.
To regain its title as the least expensive council in London, Wandsworth said that it would freeze the majority of its council tax, with the exception of the amount spent on social care.
In contrast, Kingston, which borders Wandsworth in Roehampton Vale, is anticipated to impose the highest taxes once again.After decades as a Tory flagship borough, Wandsworth was taken over by Labour in the 2022 local elections.
