But if you’re considering buying one yourself, you may be wondering whether those claims really stack up. That’s why we’ve consulted experts from AO, Uswitch and Salter to find out how much an air fryer really costs to run.

Energy has become a huge topic of conversation again with the war in Iran pushing up prices. For now, most of us are protected by the energy price cap, which is set to drop in April to £1,641 until the end of June. But in July, experts from the energy consultancy Cornwall Insights predict that our bills will increase by around £300 a year.
