How Much Did Jacob Bridgeman Win At The Genesis Invitational?

The Genesis Invitational returned to Riviera Country Club in 2026 after a stop at Torrey Pines due to the California wildfires.

It's safe to say it was worth the wait after a brilliant final round that saw several quick-fire moments of magic, along with Rory McIlroy and Kurt Kitayama pushing overnight runaway leader Jacob Bridgeman all the way.

Bridgeman had a six-shot lead heading into the final round, but by the time he had two putts to win it on the 72nd hole, the advantage had been whittled down to just one.

Even then, there was late drama as Bridgeman came up short with his first putt, the nerves clearly having an impact. However, he steadied himself to do what was necessary to claim his maiden PGA Tour title at one of its biggest events.

The Tiger Woods-hosted tournament is one of the PGA Tour's Signature Events, and, as a result, there was some huge money on offer.

Typically, the winner earns $3.6m at Signature Events, but not at three of the eight, the Genesis Invitational, the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament.

At those tournaments, the winner takes home 20% of the overall purse of $20m, handing Bridgeman a check for $4m.

That is over half the total he had earned in his PGA Tour career to that point, having claimed almost $7m in 65 starts ahead of the Genesis Invitational.

McIlroy and Kitayama had to settle for a tie for second, giving them a payday of $1.8m. Meanwhile, Adam Scott, who finished fourth, earns $920,000.

Although the Genesis Invitational is a limited field event regular, the 36-hole cut ensured not every player who began the week earned a pay check.

In terms of non-financial rewards, the Genesis Invitational winner is projected to claim around 70 OWGR points as well as being guaranteed an extremely helpful 700 FedEx Cup points.

Below is what each player who made the cut won at the Genesis Invitational.
