The Ladies European Tour season began with its most lucrative event, the PIF Saudi Ladies International at Riyadh Golf Club.
At the start of the final round, Casandra Alexander and Akie Iwai shared the lead, but thanks to a brilliant 65 from Charley Hull, which included an eagle at the 12th, the title went to the Englishwoman - as well as big prize money.
Overall, a $5 million total prize money payout was on offer at the event - the same figure available at the equivalent tournament in the men's game.
The same sum was up for grabs 12 months ago, too, but with a team element involved last year, which saw a $500,000 purse, there were smaller payouts for each player in the individual competition.
In 2026, the team format was no longer a factor, and each of the 65 players who made the cut shared the LET's largest prize money payout of the year.

As a result, Hull scooped a check for $750,000 (€631,625) with Alexander and Iwai having to sett for $375,000 (€315,812) each.
The top eight players claimed over six figures before the various takeaways reduce how much money players really earn.
And although 65 players shared out the $5 million payout, the 55 pros who missed the cut were paid $1,000 as a consolation prize.
Below is the prize money payout in euros for each player who made the cut at the 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International.
