Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all rank in the top six for fees paid to intermediaries and agents for the past year as the English Football Association posted their figures for the Premier League. The timeframe spans from February 1 2022 until January 31 2023, with the fees spent in that time included.
That doesn't mean that all of the money paid is from that exact period though, with payments started from before February 1, but paid within that time, also counting towards that total. Manchester City currently lead the way with a huge £51.5million figure posted for the campaign.
That total dwarfs their previous season total of £35million, with the huge transfer of Erling Haaland potentially playing a large part in that uptick. While the current champions are at the top for money spent, they are followed by Chelsea following their new ownership's large transfer expenditure.

The Blues have spent over half-a-billion-pounds in transfer fees since Boehly-Clearlake took charge of the club in late May last year. In the two windows they have had, the west London outfit have paid £43.1million to agents and intermediaries, which is larger than most of the league but still £8.4million behind City.
Liverpool came third with roughly £33.7million spent, with Manchester United after them with £24.7million for the year. Below those four big spenders, the rest of the Premier League are relatively similar in the amount they paid as Arsenal paid £16.7million with Tottenham closely behind with £16.1million.
