Peter Andre and his wife Emily are expecting their third child together and made the shock announcement on their social media channels.
The singer, 50, and his 33-year-old wife Emily, an NHS doctor, announced the happy news on their Instagram pages alongside a picture of them both beaming and holding a scan picture aloft on Thursday (October 12).
The pair wrote: “We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024 The kids are so excited. So are we.”
The child will be the pair’s third together, but Andre also has other children from his previous marriage to former glamour model Katie Price, 45.
Peter and Emily have been married for eight years and wed in a lavish ceremony at Mamhead House in Exeter in 2015, after meeting in 2010 through Emily’s surgeon father, Ruaraidh MacDonagh.
He was Peter’s consultant during surgery for kidney stones in 2010 and, knowing she was a fan of his music, introduced her to him. The pair said they developed an immediate friendship but did not begin dating until summer 2012.

The singer is father to four children, the youngest of whom is six-years-old.
In an interview last year, Emily said she tried to be there for her and Peter’s children, as well as her step-children, Princess and Junior.
Speaking to Closer magazine, Emily said she prefers to “leave the disciplining” of her stepchildren to Peter so as not to overstep boundaries as a stepmum.
She said: “I tend to leave the disciplining up to Pete and often I feel like a big sister, which works really well for us.”

Junior, aged 18, and Princess, aged 16
Peter shares two children, daughter Princess, 16, and son Junior, 18, with his ex-wife, Katie Price, and is said to be very close to them both. They have regularly appeared on social media and both have tried their hand at singing, and are not afraid of the limelight — just like their famous parents.
Junior lives with Peter and Emily and their brood, and recently turned 18, celebrating in Ibiza.
In a chat with Hello magazine last month, he said he turns to both parents to ask advice should he need it: “The trust is there and I’ll always have conversations with my parents if they double-think something that I’ve decided to do. It’s just all about communication.
“I know what’s right and what’s wrong. I wouldn’t do something just because my parents don’t want me to. I think they know that I’ve got a good head on my shoulders. I’ve been brought up by them, and they brought me up well.”
Junior is launching his singing career and has just signed a deal with Columbia Records.
Princess, full name Princess Tiaamii Crystal Esther Andre, is the 16-year-old daughter he shares with Katie.
She has also made a bid to be as succesful in the public eye, and has amassed 1.2 million followers across her TikTok and Instagram as an influencer, with the potential to make millions in brand deals.
Amelia, aged 10, and Theo, aged six
The youngest of the family at the moment, Amelia and Theo, are the children of Peter and his now-wife, Emily. Emily and Peter are said to want to keep the children’s lives very private until they are old enough to make an informed decision themselves and neither parent shares snaps of their faces uncovered publicly.
Speaking in her OK! magazine column in October last year, Emily said other celebrities facing trolling over their children was the reason behind her decision.
She wrote: “This is exactly why I have been cautious about sharing my children’s faces online. I feel like people are really cruel.
“To make comments about a child’s appearance is unnecessary and wrong. Making comments in general about people’s appearances generally is uncalled for.
“It’s no wonder we’re seeing a rise in people with body insecurities and people making enhancements to their bodies.”
Peter added: “So Emily’s point is that they weren’t born into the media — no-one has ever seen their faces, so she doesn’t really want anyone to see their faces.
“So when they go to school, no-one can really recognise them at that.
“Obviously, from J and P from day one, we were documenting our lives and they were part of that, so I think they have always been in the media.
“And that’s the reasoning for it. So I have to respect Emily for that. She hasn’t done it. She says, once you do cross that, there’s no going back so I’m like, ‘OK, no problem’.”
