Real Madrid and France star Aurelien Tchouameni is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a sprained ankle.
If losing 3-1 at home to AC Milan wasn’t bad enough, Los Blancos were dealt another blow upon learning that a key player in Tchouameni is now out with injury.
The Frenchman was substituted at half-time on Tuesday night and according to the club, he was diagnosed with a sprained left ankle.
Real Madrid released a statement to confirm that following tests on the player by the club medical services, their nightmares were confirmed.
How long is Aurelien Tchouameni out for with ankle injury?
Local Spanish media are reporting that Tchouameni will be out for a month, which sets his return date as Sunday, December 8th when Madrid travel to Girona in La Liga.
The 24-year-old has been hit with another untimely injury crisis after he missed two weeks with a foot injury at the start of September.
Madrid have experienced horrid luck so far this season with almost every player in the squad suffering some form of injury and missing at least one game.

Will Carlo Ancelotti be sacked as Real Madrid manager?
According to the best football betting sites, Madrid are still the outright favourites to win the Champions League this season – so it’s not all doom and gloom.
Calls have arrived for Carlo Ancelotti to vacate his position as manager, with a view of bringing Bayer Leverkusen manager and former player Xabi Alonso back to the Bernabeu.
The disappointing result against Milan follows a 4-0 thrashing in El Clasico at the hands of Barcelona – and the results need to start coming quickly for the Italian to save his job.
The 65-year-old has won two La Liga titles, three Champions League crowns and two FIFA Club World Cups over two spells as Madrid boss from 2013-15 and since 2021.
Some Spanish media are even reporting that the club are considering showing Ancelotti the door, with president Florentino Perez not known for being very forgiving.
If the opportunity to pinch Alonso comes along it is one that Madrid will probably take and the Spaniard would likely oblige as well.
