Leeds United have shown their commitment to a long term strategy at Elland Road after Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville all signed new long-term deals on Tuesday. The Whites, who have also brought in five new first team players this summer, rewarded the young trio after they each enjoyed a breakthrough into the first team last season.
But Gelhardt, Greenwood and Summerville's renewals are just the start of the work that Leeds have got to do in terms of contracts. While only three are out of contract next summer, a large volume of the squad's current deals only run until 2024 and so Victor Orta and co will have to be ruthless on who they want to stick around long-term.
With that in mind, here is a look at the contract situation of each player in Jesse Marsch's squad

Luke Ayling
The right-back position is one that Marsch was eager to strengthen this summer, bringing in Rasmus Kristensen for £10 million. Ayling is currently out injured having gone under the knife for knee surgery in May, but he is expected to return to training at the end of August - where he will be working hard to earn himself a new contract.
Adam Forshaw
Forshaw's put to pen to paper on a new contract in January, keeping him at Elland Road until the summer of 2023.
Mateusz Bogusz
The young midfield joined Leeds in 2019, and was rewarded with a new deal until 2023 just 18 months later.
2024
Liam Cooper
Cooper will have been at Elland Road for a decade by the time his contract expires. He will turn 33 in the summer of 2024, but the captain recently revealed that he feels he can play for many more years.
Pascal Struijk
The versatile Struijk signed for Leeds as an 18-year-old in 2018. Two years later, he was rewarded with a new contract.

Cody Drameh
Drameh, who LeedsLive understand will stay at Elland Road this season to fight for a place in the first-team, still has two years remaining on his Elland Road deal.
Rodrigo
Leeds smashed their club-record fee when they signed Rodrigo for £26 million in 2020. He is halfway through his deal at the Whites.

After impressing in the Championship for a couple of seasons, the Poland international signed a new four-and-a-half year deal in 2019.

2026
Ilan Meslier
Meslier was rewarded with a long-term deal last summer.

Brenden Aaronson
Aaronson followed the same path of Kristensen - signing from Red Bull Salzburg on a long-term deal.
Tyler Adams
Just like the previous two players, Adams has worked with Marsch before, and the Leeds head coach handed the American midfielder a long-term contract to show his faith.
Luis Sinisterra

Joe Gelhardt
After a breakthrough season in 2021/22, Joe Gelhardt was rewarded with a new five-year-deal on Tuesday ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
