After easing Naby Keita and Joel Matip gently back into action with 30 and 45 minutes, respectively, against Lyon on Sunday, I'm expecting the bulk of the Liverpool team to play a bit longer against AC Milan tonight.
It's the ideal chance to get Darwin Nunez back up and running again after nearly two weeks off following Uruguay's World Cup exit. Harvey Elliott's substitution near the half-hour mark against Lyon was precautionary should he feature too at some stage.
In defence, I expect James Milner to continue at right-back alongside Joe Gomez, Matip and Andy Robertson with Caoimhin Kelleher behind them in goal, while the midfield could see Keita start alongside Thiago Alcantara and probably Stefan Bajcetic as the No.6.

It was difficult for Keita to get to grips with the game after an hour on Sunday given the inexperienced lineup has was asked to perform so tonight could be a great opportunity to show what Liverpool have missed in his absence in a more senior-looking set-up.
Up front, Nunez could be asked to go out on the left alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. The likes of Elliott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kostas Tsimikas could all use some minutes too with Manchester City to come in the Carabao Cup next week.
Predicted XI: Kelleher; Milner, Gomez, Matip, Robertson; Bajcetic, Keita, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Nunez.
