In September, the two victims of former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson faced him across a courtroom for the first time.
As extracts from their victim impact statements were read aloud by prosecution barrister Rosemary Walsh KC, they sat in the public gallery with the police team which had helped to secure Donaldson’s conviction.
