One successful Hail Mary could mean another for the 2024 presidential election.
As we’ve written about in recent weeks, there’s the coincidence named after the Washington Commanders. As our Robert Zeglinski wrote, “The precedent maintains that if the Commanders win this last home game, the incumbent political party will keep the presidency. … It has held true in 17 of the 19 U.S. presidential elections.”
We all thought that Jayden Daniels’ injury might cost the Democrats an election, but there he was on Sunday, slinging the game-winning Hail Mary that won the Commanders a game over the Chicago Bears.
Will this tradition hold? We’ll find out in a week.
