How hot Leeds will be on Friday as heatwave continues into the weekend

Its going to be another scorching day in Leeds on Friday as temperatures are forecast to hit 26C in some parts.

Leeds has seen high temperatures this week as the country hit a heatwave and Friday (June 16) is forecast to be yet another sunny day.

Met Office said: "Any early patchy fog and low cloud will soon clear, leaving another sunny morning. Perhaps a little more cloudy in the afternoon. Very warm inland, but cooler near eastern coasts. Maximum temperature 28 °C."

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Gradually becoming unsettled over the weekend, with an increasing risk of thunderstorms giving hail and torrential downpours. Often very warm, but also more humid. Coastal fog occasionally moving inland overnight.
